Okay, so I’ve been obsessed with the “Fall Guys” theme music lately. It’s just so catchy and upbeat! I decided I needed to learn how to play it, or at least a simplified version of it. Here’s how I went about it:

Finding the Notes
First things first, I needed to figure out the actual notes. I’m not musically trained or anything, I mostly play by ear, so my method is not the most accurate, but it worked, ha.
I started by listening to the theme song over and over. Yeah, I basically had it on repeat for like an hour. My family probably wanted to throw my phone out the window. My suggestion is: use headphones.
Then, I looked for some simple piano tutorials online. I found one, and that really helped me, and gave me a better idea of the basic melody.
Figuring Out the Chords
- Main Melody: The song’s main melody is so simple that I think anyone can learn it.
- The Beat: The key to this song isn’t just the melody, but the bouncy, energetic beat.
Putting It All Together
I started practicing with the melody, playing the notes one at a time. Slowly, I got faster. Then I added the bass.I tried to capture that bouncy feel with my left hand, even if it wasn’t exactly what’s in the original song.

It’s not perfect, but it’s recognizable! And more importantly, it’s super fun to play. I’ve been playing it non-stop, and now my family is not only annoyed by the original song but also my version of it. It’s a win-win, I guess!
