So, I heard about this thing called the “Ascendant Challenge” in Destiny 2. It sounded pretty cool, so I decided to give it a shot. First, I needed to find these portals in the Dreaming City. They are supposed to open every week, which is a bit of a pain, but hey, what can you do?

I started by looking for some information online. I found some stuff about a character named “Slayer Baron” and something called “Episode Revenant.” It was all pretty confusing, to be honest. I just wanted to find these challenges and get some cool loot.
Anyway, I booted up the game and headed to the Dreaming City. I wandered around for a bit, trying to figure out where these portals were. Eventually, I stumbled upon one in the Garden of Esila. Apparently, it was the “Forfeit Shrine” challenge, according to some website I found.
- Gear up: Before I jumped in, I made sure I had my best gear equipped. I figured these challenges wouldn’t be a walk in the park.
- Find the portal: Like I said, I found the portal in the Garden of Esila. It was tucked away in a corner, kind of hard to miss once you knew where to look.
- Jump in: I took a deep breath and jumped into the portal. It felt like I was being transported to another dimension or something. Pretty trippy.
Once I was in the challenge, I realized it wasn’t going to be easy. There were a bunch of enemies, and the environment itself was trying to kill me. I died a few times, which was frustrating. Each time I died, I got kicked out and had to start all over again from the Dreaming City. It was a real pain having to make my way back to the portal every time I messed up. It felt like the game was punishing me for not being good enough.
Keep Trying
But I’m not one to give up easily. I kept trying, learning from my mistakes, and eventually, I managed to complete the challenge. The feeling of finally beating it was amazing. I felt like a true Guardian of the light! It’s not easy. I tried and tried and tried. Died many times. But finally, I did it. Feels great!
After all that, I can say the Ascendant Challenge was definitely an experience. It was tough, frustrating at times, but ultimately rewarding. Would I do it again? Probably. The loot was pretty good, and the sense of accomplishment was worth it. Plus, now I can brag to my friends about it. I got some pretty good stuff. Makes me want to try again next week. See what else I can get.

So that’s my story about tackling the Ascendant Challenge in Destiny 2. If you’re thinking about trying it, be prepared for a challenge. And don’t give up, even if you die a lot. It’s all part of the fun, right?
