Okay, so, I saw this thing online about Dave Richard, some big shot over at CBS. Got me curious, you know? So, I did what any normal person would do – I started digging around to see what this guy’s deal is.
First thing I did was fire up my trusty old browser. Typed in “Dave Richard CBS” and hit enter. Boom! A whole bunch of stuff popped up. Mostly news articles and some stuff from CBS’s own site. Skimmed through a couple of those, just to get a general vibe of who this Dave guy is. Seems like he’s involved in fantasy football and some other sports-related stuff. Not really my scene, but hey, different strokes for different folks, right?
Initial Findings

Next, I thought, “Where else can I find more dirt on this guy?” Naturally, I headed over to social media. Checked out Twitter, Facebook, the usual suspects. Found his Twitter, and he’s pretty active there. Tweets a lot about, you guessed it, football. Also saw some interactions with other folks in the industry. Looks like he’s pretty well-connected.
Then I tried to see if he had done any interviews or podcasts. I find those are where you can get a real sense of someone’s personality. Typed “Dave Richard interview” into the search bar, and bingo! Found a few podcasts where he was a guest. Listened to a couple while I was doing chores around the house. The guy knows his stuff, I’ll give him that. He talks about football with a lot of passion, and it’s kind of infectious, even though I’m not a huge sports fan.
