Okay, here’s my sharing about “Charles Schmidt” today:

So, I was digging around the internet today, trying to find some info on this guy named Charles Schmidt. First, I typed his name into a search engine. I got a bunch of results, but it wasn’t immediately clear which one was the right guy. The search results showed a few different Charles Schmidts. One was a baseball player, another seemed to be some kind of business guy. I needed to narrow it down.
Then I tried to search him on LinkedIn, and it showed that he might be in Australia. I clicked on the profile, but it didn’t have much detailed information. It’s just a basic profile, you know? Not much to go on there.
I started to piece things together by checking other results. I discovered that he’s a big-shot writer. He’s a senior contributor to some place called “Undark”. He’s also written for some really well-known science magazines. I’m talking about places like Science, Nature Biotechnology, Scientific American, and even Discover Magazine. This guy’s legit!
I found out that he even won an award from the National Association of Science Writers. It’s called the “Science in Society Journalism Award.” That sounds pretty fancy, right? Seems like he’s really good at what he does.
I also stumbled upon some bits about his education. Apparently, he was a Student Teaching Assistant at Southern Illinois University (SIU) way back in the day. He got his B.A. in Geography and History there. I guess he’s always been into learning and sharing knowledge.

I tried to see if I could find what he’s writing about these days. One article mentioned something about coronavirus research in Wuhan. It’s all pretty heavy stuff. This Charles Schmidt guy definitely seems to be on top of important scientific topics. The article title was “Should Work on the Coronavirus in Wuhan Be Considered ‘Gain-of-Function’ Research”.
So that’s what I found out about Charles Schmidt today. It took a bit of digging and connecting the dots, but I finally got a good picture of who he is. He’s a respected science writer with a knack for explaining complex topics. It was a good day of internet sleuthing!
