Alright, so the other day I was trying to catch the Thunder game, and I realized I wasn’t 100% sure which channel it was on. I mean, sometimes it’s straightforward, but other times, it’s like a scavenger hunt!

First, I grabbed my phone. My go-to move is usually to check the ESPN app. I scrolled through the scores and upcoming games, looking for the Thunder matchup. Sometimes they have the channel info right there.
No luck there this time. The app had the game, but not the channel. Okay, plan B.
Check the Local Listings
I headed over to my TV provider’s website. I don’t have cable but I’ve got one of those streaming services. I logged in and browsed the TV guide. I found the Thunder game listed, and boom, there it was: Bally Sports Oklahoma. Usually, I can find it.
But, I remembered that some games are nationally televised, so just to be absolutely sure, I did a quick search on Google – “what channel is the thunder playing on tonight.”
- Just to be sure, I double checked.
- I looked for the local channels.
- Then I cross-referenced that with any national broadcasts.
The search results confirmed it was indeed on Bally Sports Oklahoma, with a few mentions of NBA League Pass as an option for out-of-market viewers. I don’t need that since I’m local, but good to know!

So, finally, I knew exactly where to find the game. It took a couple of steps, checking a few different places, but hey, that’s how it goes sometimes. Game on!
