Okay, so I wanted to keep better track of AC Milan’s performance in the Champions League. I’m a huge fan, and I always find myself scrambling to find their standings. So, I decided to make it easier on myself this season.

First, I tried just bookmarking a few sports websites. You know, the usual ones. But honestly, it was still a pain. I’d have to click through a bunch of pages to find what I was looking for, and sometimes the information was outdated. Not ideal.
Then, I thought, “Why not just make a simple spreadsheet?” It seemed like a good idea at the time. I opened up a new Google Sheet and started filling in the basics: team names, games played, wins, losses, draws, goals for, goals against, goal difference, and points. Easy enough, right?
Well, it turned out to be more work than I anticipated. I had to manually update the sheet after every match, which was a bit tedious. Plus, I wanted to add some extra info, like upcoming fixtures and maybe even some notes about each game. The spreadsheet started getting a bit messy.
Keeping it updated
I decided to improve my record-keeping using some readily available tools.

- I spent searching “ac milan champions league standings”.
- Then I found some useful information.
Manually updating scores and tables are time-consuming. I should have used a better tool.
