Today, I wanna share my experience looking into Temple football players who made it to the NFL. You know, just a regular guy checking out some sports stuff online, nothing too fancy.

So, I started by firing up my computer and opening my usual browser. I typed in something like “Temple football NFL players” into the search bar. I figured this was a good starting point.
I clicked on a couple of the first links that popped up. One of them was “*.” It had a massive list, 134 players! I saw names like Anthony Anderson and Ryquell Armstead. There were tons of others, too. It showed which ones were drafted, 81 of them to be exact.
- Started my search online.
- Found a list of 134 players on a website called “*.”
- Noticed 81 of them were drafted into the NFL.
I kept digging, because, why not? I found another site talking about players who were drafted from 1960 onwards. That’s a long time! It mentioned something about the NFL Draft and Temple University, which I guess makes sense.
Then I stumbled upon this other place, “FanBase 360 Friday,” talking about Temple football players who went pro. It sounded pretty cool, you know, from college to the big leagues. It was all about their “Impressive NFL Alumni Roster.” Sounds like a big deal.
I read that recently, in the 2023 NFL Draft, five players from Temple got picked. That’s huge! I bet those guys were over the moon. I also saw that Temple has a total of 16 players in the NFL, which is second-most in their conference, just behind Memphis with 17.

There was also something about a player named Jordan Magee. He got drafted by the Washington Commanders in 2024. Apparently, he was a big deal at Temple, leading the team in tackles and stuff. I think it mentioned he was picked 139th overall.
My Thoughts
It’s pretty cool to see how many players from one college, Temple, have made it to the NFL. I mean, 134 is a lot! And it’s not just about making it; some of these guys, like Jordan Magee, really shined in college before going pro. It’s kind of inspiring, you know? Makes you think about all the hard work and dedication these players put in.
Oh, and I also learned that Georgia holds the record for the most NFL draft picks in a single year. I didn’t know that before. Seems like they have a pretty solid football program, too.
So yeah, that’s pretty much it. Just a regular afternoon spent learning a bit more about football and these players’ journeys. It’s interesting stuff, even if you’re not a huge sports fanatic.
