Okay, so I’ve been meaning to get out and try some new golf courses lately. I heard about this place, Hedingham, down in, I think it’s, North Carolina? I don’t really know that whole area, but I wanted to give it a shot.

Getting Started
First things first, I grabbed my clubs. I have had to make sure they were all, you know, good to go. Checked the grips, made sure I didn’t have any weird, like, loose heads or anything. Everything looked solid, so into the car they went.
Next step, getting the directions! I’m pretty good with getting lost if I don’t have the instructions, so I punched “Hedingham Golf NC” into my phone. Found it! Seemed pretty straightforward. It was a bit of a drive, but I put my favorite song, and hit the road.
Hitting the Green
I pulled up, and the course, it looked pretty nice. Nicely maintained, good green, you know, the whole nine yards. Paid my greens fees, got a cart which is important to me, and headed out to the first tee.
- First Hole: Not bad! A decent par 4. I managed to bogey it, which, for me, is a win.
- Middle Holes: Things got a little dicey around the middle. There were a couple of water hazards that I almost landed in. I lost, a couple of balls, but no big deal. I’m used to it.
- Back Nine: I found my groove on the back nine. I even got a birdie on the 15th! That was definitely the highlight of my day.
Wrapping Up
Finished the round, and I have to say, it was a good time. The course, like I mentioned earlier, was in great shape. The staff, the people working there, they were friendly. It wasn’t overly crowded, which is always a plus in my book. And, the weather. the weather was great for playing golf.
Would I go back? Yeah, I think I would. It was a good experience, a decent challenge, and a nice way to spend a day. If you’re in the, uh, North Carolina area, and you’re looking for a place to hit some balls, you should give this place a try.
