Okay, so I had this crazy idea the other day: “mermaid on a horse.” It sounded so random and cool, I just had to try and make it happen, visually. I’m no artist, but I do love messing around with tools. Let me tell you the whole story.

First, I scratched my head and thought, where do I even begin? I needed a way to describe what I wanted. That’s when I remembered Mermaid. No, not the swimming kind, the code kind! It’s this neat thing where you can write text, and it turns into diagrams. Super simple.
Diving into Mermaid
I opened up a text editor and started typing. At first, it was just basic stuff, figuring out how to make boxes and arrows. I must looked like a confused child playing with LEGOs. I played around and get a feel for the syntax.
Then came the real challenge. I wanted to represent a “mermaid” and a “horse” somehow. I decided to keep it super simple. After I got a flowchart I was happy with, I copied the code and find a place to render it. I can see the picture I made!
It wasn’t perfect, not by a long shot. But you know what? It was mine. My own little “mermaid on a horse” creation, born from code. It was goofy, it was fun, and it reminded me that even the silliest ideas can lead to something interesting if you just give it a try.
