Okay, so I’ve been following the NBA for a while now, and I gotta say, this Mavericks vs. Wizards game was something else. I mean, I was all set up to watch it on Thursday, December 5th, at the Capital One Arena, you know?

First off, I checked the dates and everything. I knew it was going down at 6pm CST. I’m a big fan of the Mavs, even though they are not my home team, but I gotta give credit where it’s due. They had been on a five-game winning streak, which was wild. But the Wizards? They were, well, 2-17, not looking so hot. I also knew I need to go to the Capital One Arena, since the game was going to be played there.
I did some digging into what happens when the Mavs lose to the Wizards. Also, I found out this dude with the Mavs is in his seventh NBA season. Then I stumbled upon this stat that the Wizards, when playing as road underdogs, only lose by about 7.5 points a game. Now, you know the Mavs have Doncic, and that guy is scary on the offense.
Game Plan and Prediction
I was also reading up on predictions and stuff. I heard some people talking about Kyle Kuzma needing to step up for the Wizards. But then there was this whole thing about the Mavs and Wizards playing back-to-back nights. I was like, is that going to mess things up?
I remembered reading something about how the Mavs have been playing super fast since they got Rondo. And get this, this coach, Kidd, was saying that Doncic “is the game plan.” And on this one night, Doncic dropped a crazy 73 points! It’s like, only Wilt Chamberlain and Kobe Bryant scored more in a game.
Result
- I was ready for the game to be on the line.
- I watched as Kidd’s plan worked out.
- I saw Doncic score a ton of points, a franchise record.
So, yeah, that’s my take on the Mavericks vs. Wizards game. It was a wild ride, and I was there for all of the key moments, man. The stats, the predictions, the actual game – it all came together for one heck of a night.
