Alright, guys, let’s talk about the ecotrans Ladies Open 2024. I followed it pretty closely, and it was a wild ride. I mean, really something!

First off, I started by checking out the tournament’s schedule online. I wanted to know who was playing when, you know? So, I looked up the daily matchups. It’s always fun to see which top players are going head-to-head.
Then, I made sure to catch the live scores. Man, some of those matches were intense! It was down to the wire, and I was on the edge of my seat. Following the live updates was a must because I didn’t want to miss a single point.
One thing I did was keep an eye on the top players. Seven of the top 10 in the world rankings were there. That’s a big deal, right? So, I watched how they performed in each round. There were some real nail-biters, let me tell you. Also I noticed some of players are really good-looking, I was totally distracted at that time.
I also dug into the history of the tournament a bit. I found out that this tournament is a big thing in Berlin, and they’ve been doing it since 1988, I suppose it is a long time ago. It’s held at the Rot-Weiss Tennis Club, which is apparently a really nice venue, I wish I could be there in person.
- So I looked up who won in the past and how much they won.
- I compared this year’s prize money to last year’s.
- They upped the prize money by over 18% this year. The champion gets €123,480. That’s a nice chunk of change!
Now, let’s talk about the final. Jessica Pegula faced off against Anna Kalinskaya. What a match! Pegula was down, but she fought back like a champ. She saved five championship points. Five! Can you believe it? I was practically yelling at my screen. She ended up winning, 6–7, 6–4, 7–6. It was one for the books.

My Thoughts
In the end, I followed the ecotrans Ladies Open 2024 from start to finish. I watched the matches, checked the scores, and even learned a bit about the tournament’s history. Seeing Jessica Pegula win after such a tough battle was the highlight. What a performance! That’s what I called “tennis”. And, I really enjoyed it. Hope next time I could get a ticket to Berlin, that would be a dream come true!
So yeah, that’s my recap of the ecotrans Ladies Open 2024. It was a blast to follow, and I can’t wait for next year’s tournament. I guess I will see you guys next time!
