Okay, so today I decided to mess around with something called “Graham Hamilton.” Honestly, I didn’t even know what it really was going in, just saw the name and thought, “Why not?”

First, I googled it, of course. Found some stuff about a computer scientist, some technical papers… looked pretty dense. I’m not gonna lie, I skimmed most of it. It seemed related to computer graphics and stuff, which is way out of my league.
My Little Experiment
I figured, “Let’s try to understand the basics at least.” So, I focused on finding a simple explanation or maybe a tutorial. After clicking around a bit, I landed on what I think was a description of some kind of process, maybe an algorithm?
I tried to follow the steps, which involve:
- Identifying some points.
- Doing some calculations.
- Creating some lines.
I had the points, that was easy. But the calculation, yeah, it was one of those, I read and it went into one ear and straight out to the other.
So I kinda improvised… a lot. I grabbed some random numbers and started plugging them in.

It created some weird shapes, I mean, they looked like… squiggly lines mostly. Definitely not what I expected, probably because I totally butchered those calculations.
At the end, the lines were created and the result was not I have in mind, so I did some more random calculation based on the result I got, and I ended up with a… blob? A very abstract, digital blob. So yeah, my “Graham Hamilton” adventure resulted in a blob.
I definitely did not become an expert today. But hey, I tried something new, played around a bit, and learned… well, I learned that I need to learn a lot more about this if I ever want to understand it properly. Maybe next time I’ll actually try to find a beginner-friendly tutorial before I start throwing random numbers at it.
