Okay, so I’ve been messing around with nicknames lately, specifically trying to come up with some cool variations for the name “Kaz”. It’s shorter than the full name, and sounds strong, I dig that. I wanted something, you know, catchy and maybe a little bit unique. So I started with just listing out some options.

Brainstorm Time
- Kazoo – Nah, too silly.
- Kazzle – Sounds like a puzzle game.
- Kay – This felt close, but too close to Kai.
- Zee – Started from the end of the name, and it’s alright, I guess.
I thought about what makes a good nickname. Usually, it’s short, easy to say, and has some kind of connection to the original name, that is a good rule to follow. Also I don’t want a very strange nickname.
Then I tried adding some letters. Double letters can be good.
- Kazz – Simple, I like double letters.
- Kazzy – Adding a “y” can make it more friendly.
I also considered things like the personality, and I think the name “Kaz” gives a feeling of a strong person.
After playing around with it for a while, I think I like “Kazz” the best. It’s short, punchy, and still clearly related to “Kaz”. “Kazzy” is my second favorite, and It is friendly.
It’s always good to have a few choices. So, mission accomplished, I think my job is done.
