Okay, so today I decided to dive into the world of the Iceland soccer team. I wanted a good, solid list of the players, and I figured, “Hey, I’ll document this process!” So here’s how it went down.

First Steps: The Obvious Search
First, I fired up my browser. I mean, where else do you start? I typed in something simple like “Iceland soccer team players”. I was just hoping for a quick list, you know?
Sifting Through the Results
I got a bunch of results, mostly news articles and some official-looking websites. I started clicking through a few, but it was mostly articles about the team, not a straight-up roster. Some of the bigger sports sites had partial lists, but they were often outdated or focused on specific matches.
Digging Deeper
I realized I needed to be more specific. I refined my search, adding things like “current roster” and “2023” (or whatever the current year is when you’re doing this). This helped a bit, but I still wasn’t finding a single, definitive source.
Finding a Reliable Source
I focused on looking for official sources.
I looked closely, finally, I found somthing useful.

Compiling the Information
- I opened up a simple text document. Nothing fancy, just somewhere to dump the names.
- As I found player names, I copied and pasted them into my document.
- I made sure to note the source for each player, just in case I needed to double-check something later.
- I tried to find and include the player positions.
The Final Product
After some copying, pasting, and organizing, I had a pretty decent list! It wasn’t perfect, but it was a solid starting point.
I made sure everthing is OK.
And there you have it. That’s how I got my list.
