Okay, so, I was messing around with this thing called “cespedes” the other day. I figured I’d jot down what I did, ’cause why not? Might help someone out there, or maybe I’ll just forget everything tomorrow. Anyway, here’s the deal.
First off, I had to get myself sorted. I made a free account on this platform. It’s called “Hypothesis,” I think. It doesn’t cost a dime if you’re just using it for yourself or with a couple of buddies. They do have some fancy paid stuff, but I didn’t bother with that.
Then, I picked out this dataset I wanted to play with. Make sure you grab the headers too, that’s important, apparently. I went into the Data section and found this “Advanced” thing under “Sort & Filter”. It popped up a dialog box. I’m pretty sure they call it the “Advanced Filter” box. I followed the instructions from there.
Clean-up Operation
I waited for a sunny day to do this, ’cause it helps with, like, drying stuff. I went over everything again just to see if I missed anything the first time around. It’s kind of like when you’re cleaning your room and you think you’re done, but then you find a sock under the bed.
Getting Copilot Involved
I also messed around with this GitHub Copilot thing. It’s supposed to be some kind of AI helper for coding. There’s a whole bunch you can do with it. I started with the basic stuff and then started exploring the more advanced features. I am not a pro at this, but it seemed pretty cool.
Teams Meeting 101
Oh, and I had to use Microsoft Teams for a meeting. I’m not a huge fan of these things, but it is what it is. There’s a guide, a “101 guide,” I guess you’d call it, that helps you get the hang of it. It answered a few questions I had, so that was helpful. It’s like trying to figure out a new coffee machine, you just need someone to show you where the “on” button is.
So, yeah, that’s pretty much it. I just poked around, clicked some buttons, and saw what happened. It wasn’t anything groundbreaking, but I figured it was worth sharing. Maybe someone will find it useful, or maybe it’ll just be another random thing on the internet. Who knows?
- Made a free account on Hypothesis.
- Selected a dataset and used the Advanced Filter.
- Did a clean-up on a sunny day.
- Explored GitHub Copilot.
- Used Microsoft Teams with the help of a 101 guide.
It is not easy sometimes to get things done, but it is just that simple. It’s easy to get caught up in the end goal, but sometimes you just have to start with the basics. Like they say, you gotta walk before you can run.
