Okay, so today I decided to dive into the latest Fortnite update, 28.30. I’ve been playing Fortnite on and off for a while now, and I always like to check out what’s new.

First things first, I launched the game. The download itself wasn’t too bad – took maybe 15-20 minutes on my connection. Nothing out of the ordinary there.
Once everything was updated and ready, I jumped into a Battle Royale match. I wanted to see the new stuff in action, you know? Get a feel for it myself.
Gameplay Changes
- The first thing I noticed was the weapon adjustments. It seems some guns got buffed, and some got nerfed. Felt like I had to relearn how to use a few of my favorites, which was a bit frustrating at first.
- Then, I stumbled upon some of the new map changes. It’s always cool to see how Epic Games mixes things up, even if I get totally lost for the first few matches!
- I also tried out the new movement mechanics. It felt a little different, maybe a bit smoother? I couldn’t quite put my finger on it, but it definitely felt like something had changed.
After a few rounds, I started to get the hang of the new update. To be honest, I’m not completely sold on all the changes, but hey, that’s part of the game, right? It’s always evolving.
Overall, I’d say the 28.30 update is pretty decent. It’s nothing groundbreaking, but it does add some fresh elements to keep things interesting. I’m definitely going to keep playing and see how it all shakes out in the long run. Also, I checked my skins to see the changes on it. Some of them got new effects!
I’m curious to hear what other people think of the update. Did you guys like the weapon changes? Are the new map areas any good? Let me know!
