Alright, so I’ve been wanting to freshen up my iPhone’s look, and being a die-hard Yankees fan, I figured a custom background was the way to go. Here’s how I went about it, step-by-step.

First, I scoured the internet for some good source material. You know, I didn’t want just any old Yankees logo slapped on there. I wanted something with a bit of… pizazz. I spent a good hour just browsing through Google Images, Pinterest, and even some dedicated sports wallpaper sites.
I found a few contenders. A classic logo, a shot of the stadium, even a cool vintage-style design. It was tough to choose!
Narrowing it Down
I decided to make a few different versions. I mean, why limit myself to just one? My process for each went something like this:
- Downloaded the image to my computer. I made sure they were high-resolution, too – nobody wants a blurry background.
- Opened it up in a photo * simple edit, used the photo editor.
- Resized it to fit my iPhone screen. This part was a little tricky, had to look up the exact dimensions for my iPhone.
- Played around with the brightness, contrast, and maybe added a subtle filter. Nothing too crazy, just wanted to make it look perfect.
The Final Touch
I transfer them to my iPhone.
then selected to change the wallpaper.

After all that, I ended up with three awesome Yankees backgrounds! I’m currently rocking the vintage-style one, but it’s nice to know I can switch things up whenever I feel like it. It’s a small thing, but it definitely adds a personal touch to my phone, and shows off my team pride!
