Okay, so I’ve been wanting to catch a Yankees game for ages, and with the 2024 schedule out, I saw they were playing the Nationals. Perfect! I figured I’d document the whole process, from planning to actually being at the game.

Getting Started
First thing I did was hop online to check the dates. I needed to make sure it worked with my schedule, and, you know, life in general. I found the series dates pretty easily – it was a weekend series, which was awesome.
Finding The Tickets
- Checked Ticket Sites: I usually default to a couple of the big ticket sites. I looked at what was available and compared prices for different sections. It’s always a bit of a hunt to find a good balance between decent seats and not breaking the bank.
- Considered my seating: Wanted something with ok view of the yankee.
The Day of the Game
Game day! I was pretty pumped. I made sure to wear my Yankees cap.
- Getting There: I usually just drive, find some parking, and prepare for traffic.
- Inside the Stadium: Grabbed a hot dog, settled into my seat. It was good to see the stadium and get ready for game.
The Game Itself
The atmosphere was great. It’s always fun to be around other fans, cheering (or booing) together. I won’t go into every single play, but there were some great moments.
Post-Game
After the game ended. It was an awesome day, even with traffic back. I’m glad I finally got to see Yankees play at Nationals park!
