Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this whole “Anglo-Saxon facial features” thing. It’s kinda tricky, but here’s how I went about it.

Digging for Clues
First, I started by, you know, just Googling around. I typed in stuff like “Anglo-Saxon features,” “ancient British faces,” and even went down a rabbit hole of looking at old pictures and museum stuff. I needed some basic ideas, so I spend much time on searching the Internet for informations.
Building a Base
I realized pretty quick that there’s no single “Anglo-Saxon look.” I mean, we’re talking about a whole group of people over a big chunk of time. But, I found some common stuff that kept popping up:
- Strong Jawlines: Lots of pictures showed folks with pretty defined jaws.
- Prominent Brows: Like, the brow ridge seemed to stick out a bit more than, say, what I see every day.
- Fair Hair and Eyes: Okay, this is a stereotype, but it did seem common in the stuff I was finding. I know, I know, it’s not everyone, but it was a starting point.
- Longer Faces:This is maybe not fair, but it is what i thought.
My Practice
After knowing the informations.I decided to have a try.
I’m not gonna lie, the first few tries were…rough. But I kept messing with it, using the features I’d found as a kinda guide. I focused on making the jawline stronger and the brow ridge a bit more obvious. I also tried to make the face a bit longer and narrower than a typical rounded shape,I also changed the eye and hair color to be lighter.
It’s still a work in progress, for sure. I’m not saying I’ve cracked the code or anything. But it was a fun experiment, and I definitely learned something new about how different groups of people can have different facial features. Still gotta practice more, though!
