Okay, so the other day I was scrolling through baseball news, and I stumbled upon this crazy article. It got me thinking – are the Chicago White Sox the worst team ever? I mean, they’ve been pretty rough lately, but worst ever? That’s a big claim. So, I decided to do some digging of my own.

First, I pulled up their current season stats. Ouch. Lots of red. Their win-loss record was, let’s just say, not great. I won’t bore you with all the numbers, but it wasn’t pretty. They were losing a ton of games.

What I can say is that the White Sox have had some historically bad seasons, and their current trajectory isn’t exactly inspiring confidence. There were times it looked like they were, or close to, worst ever.
