Updated Phoenix Suns Depth Chart: How Good is the Team?

Alright, so the other day I was thinking, “Man, I gotta update my notes on the Phoenix Suns’ depth chart.” It’s something I like to keep track of, just for fun, you know? So, I started by pulling up a bunch of articles and stats from different sports sites. The usual stuff, ESPN, CBS Sports, a couple of others.

Updated Phoenix Suns Depth Chart: How Good is the Team?

First, I double-checked who the current starters are. Gotta make sure that’s right. At full strength, it’s Tyus Jones, Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, Kevin Durant, and Jusuf Nurkic. Sounds pretty strong, right? Oh, and Kevin Durant? That guy is killing it, averaging like 25.7 points a game. He’s the main man when it comes to scoring.

Then I looked at the backups for each position. You never know when someone’s gonna get injured or needs a rest, so the bench players are super important too. I made a list of all the players and sorted them into their positions – point guard, shooting guard, small forward, power forward, and center. This way, I can see who’s behind who. It’s like putting a puzzle together, you need all the pieces to see the full picture.

I also made sure to note down any changes in the roster. Trades happen, players get moved around, so you gotta stay on top of that. I basically compared the current roster to the last one I had saved. See if there are any new faces or if anyone’s been shipped off to another team.

After I had all that sorted, I started putting it all together in a nice, organized way. I like to have it all laid out clearly so I can see the team’s depth at a glance. This time, I thought I’d focus on the stats from their last five games. It gives you a good idea of how they’re performing recently. I used the format below to make it easy to see

And that’s pretty much it! I updated my Suns depth chart, and now I have a better idea of the Suns’ roster. It’s always interesting to see how these things change over time. I’ll keep updating it throughout the season, just to see how things shake out. It’s a fun little hobby, keeps me in the loop with my favorite team.
