Okay, so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about with Trevon Diggs’ returns this season. I’ve heard people talking about it, seen some clips, so I figured I’d dive in myself and see what’s up.

Getting Started
First, I pulled up some game footage. I wanted to get a good range, so I grabbed a few different games from throughout the season. I made sure to include games where he had multiple returns, just to get a good sample size, you know?
Watching the Tape
Then, the fun part – actually watching the games! I paid close attention every time he got his hands on the ball. I was looking for a few things:
- His initial burst – how quickly does he get up to speed?
- His vision – does he see the field well and find the open lanes?
- His moves – does he have any jukes, spins, or cuts that make defenders miss?
- His * did the blocking look like?
Taking Notes
As I watched, I jotted down some notes. Nothing fancy, just some quick observations about each return. I wanted to keep track of things like:
- Yardage gained (or lost!)
- Number of defenders he made miss
- Any big plays or noticeable mistakes
I did notice that he likes to cut, and sometime he gets those cuts and it work, but other times he dances a little too much!
Putting It All Together
After watching a bunch of returns, I started to see some patterns. Overall, I gotta say, the hype is real. The dude is explosive. He’s got that quick-twitch speed that you just can’t teach. He’s not afraid to make a move, even when it doesn’t always pay off.
