Okay, so I’ve been thinking a lot about who’s the best wrestler ever. It’s a tough one, right? Lots of big names, different eras, different styles. I mean how you gonna figure this out, right? So I decided to really dig into this thing, you know, get my hands dirty.

First, I started watching a ton of old matches. I’m talking way back, not just the recent stuff. I watched guys like, you know, The Barbarian, Scott Norton, Jim Duggan, these are tough guys, no doubt. And then I also checked out some other tough names like Fit Finlay, Scott Steiner, to get a sense of their power and style. I figured, who would win in a real brawl between these guys? Man, that’s a tough call.
Then, I dove into some online forums, you know, where the real wrestling fans hang out. I read through pages of debates. Some folks were saying the best wrestler is the one who stayed loyal to the fans and the company, and who could hang in any era. That got me thinking, loyalty and longevity, that’s gotta count for something, right?
Sorting Through the Years
- I started making lists, year by year, trying to figure out who was the top dog in each one. Man, that was a rabbit hole!
- Then I started thinking about the different wrestling promotions. Who was the king of the ring in each one? I even looked at that video game, trying to see if that gave me any clues.
I also paid attention to what some of the current wrestlers were saying. Like, Kofi Kingston, he had some thoughts on who he thinks is the best right now. And there’s always that debate about whether, like, some shows would be better if they were shorter, you know, like in the old days. It’s all connected, right? The past and the present.
I even stumbled across some news about wrestlers getting into other stuff, like acting. That made me realize, these guys, they’re not just wrestlers, they’re entertainers, they’re athletes, they’re the whole package.
So, after all this digging and watching and reading, I still don’t have a definitive answer. It’s like, everyone’s got their own opinion, you know? But I’ve definitely got a better appreciation for the history of wrestling, the different styles, and the dedication these guys have. It’s more than just muscles and moves, it’s a whole world of its own. And that’s what I learned by trying to figure out the best wrestler ever. It’s not just about who’s the best, it’s about the whole journey of it all, you know?

Maybe I’ll never know who is the best for sure, but it’s one hell of a ride to discuss this with my friends.
