Okay, so I’ve been meaning to dig into the 2015 F1 rookie class for a while now. It’s crazy to think how much has happened since then! I figured, why not document my little research project? Maybe someone else finds it interesting, too.

Getting Started
First, I needed a refresher. My memory’s not what it used to be, and 2015 feels like a lifetime ago. So, I started by listing all the drivers.
The Deep Dive
I really focused on the rookies.
- Max Verstappen: Okay, no surprises there. He was super young, and everyone was talking about him.
- Carlos Sainz Jr.: Another one with a famous dad.
- Felipe Nasr: Nasr, I remember him at Sauber.
- Roberto Merhi & Will Stevens : And that’s Will Stevens,Manor Marussia.
Then,I began looking up individual race results. It’s pretty cool to see how they all performed, race by race. It’s like watching their careers unfold from the very beginning. I spent a good chunk of time just browsing through old race reports and articles. It’s a bit of a rabbit hole, honestly. You start with one driver, then you’re reading about some controversy from that season, and before you know it, you’ve lost an hour!
Putting it Together
I didn’t want to just copy and paste a bunch of stats. I tried to, you know, make it my own. I jotted down some notes about each driver, their standout moments (or lack thereof), and how their season * is interesting to note how good verstappen’s performance was at the time.
Final Thoughts
Honestly, this was more fun than I expected. It reminded me why I love F1 in the first place – the stories, the rivalries, the unexpected results. And seeing how far these guys have come since 2015? That’s just awesome. I might do this for other seasons, too. It’s a great way to relive the history of the sport.
