Okay, so I wanted to try out that cool sunglasses smiley filter on Snapchat, you know, the one that everyone’s been using? I figured it couldn’t be that hard, right? Famous last words.
First Steps (aka The Easy Part)
I opened Snapchat. Duh. Then I swiped up to get to the explore filters thingy. I typed “sunglasses smiley” into the search bar. A bunch of options popped up, some were kinda weird, not gonna lie.
The Hunt Begins…
I started clicking on all the ones that looked remotely close to what I wanted. Some were just smiley faces, others had, like, crazy huge sunglasses. Not the vibe I was going for. I kept scrolling, clicking, and trying different filters. My camera roll started filling up with all these test snaps, most of them totally unusable.
Getting Frustrated (But Not Giving Up!)
- I tried different search terms: “shades smiley”, “cool smiley”, even just “sunglasses”. No luck.
- I started to wonder if this filter even existed. Maybe I imagined it?
- I checked a few online tutorials, you know, just in case I was being a total noob.
- I asked one of my friends and they got it to show up by using my phone, what the…
It is done!
My friend then told me to search with one word “sunglasses”, and selected the one with a very light blue filter, and there it is! I finally can use the filter!
It is so simple I’m so speechless, but anyway problem solved. Now I can happily use sunglasses smiley snapchat!
