So, the other day I was messing around and decided to try and make this “steve dad” thing work. I’d seen some stuff online, and it looked kinda neat, so I figured, why not?

First, I gathered my materials. You know, just the usual: pictures, some random code snippets I found, and a whole lot of coffee. Honestly, the coffee was probably the most important part.
Getting Started
- I opened up my trusty text editor. Nothing fancy, just something to jot down ideas and, you know, actually write the code.
- Then I started throwing things together. A little bit of this, a little bit of that. It was messy, I’m not gonna lie. Lots of trial and error. Mostly error, if I’m being honest.
- Googled some error messages, copy pasted some lines of code that look make sense.
I spent a good chunk of time just staring at the screen, wondering what I was even doing. There were moments where I almost gave up. Thought about just going back to watching cat videos. But I pushed through.
The “Aha!” Moment
After a few hours, something finally clicked. I don’t even know what I did, to be honest. But suddenly, things started to work. It was like magic. Or maybe just luck. Probably luck.
I added in a few more pictures, tweaked some of the code, and BAM! It was… something. It wasn’t perfect, not by a long shot. But it was something. It kind of resembled what I was going for, at least.
I showed it to my friend, and he was like, “Uh… what is that?” But hey, at least he reacted, right? That’s gotta count for something.

So yeah, that’s the story of how I made this “steve dad” thing. It was a wild ride, full of frustration and caffeine, but I ended up with something… vaguely resembling my original goal. Would I do it again? Maybe. Probably not. But hey, it was an experience.
