Alright, let’s talk about getting that Santa dress in Stellar Blade. It took a bit of doing, not gonna lie, but I finally got it sorted out. Here’s how my little adventure went down.

First off, I heard about this outfit, the ‘Santa Dress’ – or whatever folks were calling it, the festive red one. Sounded kinda fun, you know, a bit different from the usual combat gear. So, I decided I wanted to snag it. Didn’t really know where to start, just heard whispers it was tied to some specific activities.
Figuring Out Where to Begin
So, the first step was just figuring out the trigger. I spent a good chunk of time just wandering around Xion, talking to every single NPC I could find. You know how it is, sometimes these things are hidden behind some random side quest you ignored. Talked to the information broker, checked the bulletin board like ten times. Nothing obvious jumped out.
Then I remembered that sometimes, these special outfits are linked to collecting specific items or reaching certain hidden spots. So, I started revisiting some of the earlier areas. Went back to the Eidos 7 zone, poked around the Flooded Commercial Sector again. I was specifically looking for any unusual glowing items or interactable spots I might have missed the first time through.
The Actual Grind Part
Turns out, it wasn’t a straightforward quest pickup. I noticed some weird, sparkly collectibles, kinda like little festive baubles, scattered in really annoying places in the Great Desert. They didn’t show up on the main map scan, you really had to look for the shimmer.
- Spent maybe two hours just riding the hoverboard around, trying to spot these things.
- Some were guarded by tougher Naytibas, the ones that respawn, which was a pain.
- Had to fight the same groups over and over just to get near a collectible.
- A couple were hidden behind those tricky platforming sections. Fell down more times than I care to admit.
I think I needed to find about 10 of these baubles. The last two were the absolute worst. One was inside that big sandstorm area, visibility was terrible. The final one was on top of one of those crumbling highway structures, took me forever to figure out the jump sequence.

Finally Getting It
Once I had all the baubles, nothing happened immediately. I was getting a bit frustrated, thinking maybe I missed something. Went back to Xion, just on a hunch. Talked to Lily again, went through her dialogue options. And boom, suddenly there was a new option related to ‘festive energy’ or something like that. She mentioned the baubles I collected seemed to react together.
She took the collectibles, tinkered a bit, and then the crafting schematic for the ‘Holiday Dress’ or whatever its official name is, popped up in my inventory. It wasn’t just handed over, I still had to craft the damn thing!
Luckily, I had most of the materials already from all the fighting and exploring. Just needed a few extra Polymer types. Went to the usual shop, bought what I was missing. Headed straight to the Repair Console at a camp, and finally crafted the outfit.
So yeah, that was the process. A bit of aimless searching, followed by a proper scavenger hunt, and finally crafting it. Felt pretty good to finally see Eve rocking the red dress after all that running around. Definitely a bit of work for a cosmetic, but hey, that’s part of the fun, right?
