Alright, so let’s talk about this Ducati 900 Supersport I messed around with. I’ve always been a fan of Ducati. I mean, who isn’t? They’re like the Ferraris of the motorcycle world. Those Italian guys sure know how to make some good-looking stuff, and it’s not just about the looks, these bikes can really move.

I remember reading somewhere that Ducati riders are all about that combo of looking good and going fast. And yeah, that’s pretty much spot on. We like our bikes to be a bit of a showpiece, something that makes people do a double-take. It’s not just a bike, it’s like a piece of art that you can ride. I also heard a long history of Ducati Supersports, it is said that the new model was promoted as a sport-tourer.
So, I got my hands on this 900 Supersport, or the “SS” as some folks call it. I think it was a 2017 model. The first thing I noticed was how comfy it is. It’s got this upright seating position, which is great, especially if you’re planning on riding for a while. And you can adjust stuff, make it fit you just right.
I took it out to some twisty roads, up in the hills. Man, that’s where this bike really shines. It’s like it was made for those kinds of roads. You lean into a turn, and it just feels so good, so natural. It’s like the bike is reading your mind, knowing exactly what you want it to do.
My To-Do List of 900 Supersport
- Get the bike. This was the easy part. Found a used one in decent shape, the price wasn’t too crazy.
- Check it over. Gave it a good once-over, made sure everything was working like it should. Tires, brakes, engine, the whole nine yards.
- Ride it! Took it out for a spin, got a feel for how it handles.
- Make it my own. This is where the fun starts. I’m thinking of tweaking a few things, maybe a new exhaust, some different mirrors, just little things to make it more “me.”
- Ride it some more! Seriously, the best part. Just enjoying the ride, feeling the wind, hearing that engine.
So yeah, that’s my story with the Ducati 900 Supersport. It’s a sweet ride, a real head-turner, and a blast to ride on those winding roads. If you ever get a chance to try one out, do it. You won’t regret it.
