Rick Ness Rally Racing: How to watch it?

Hey everyone, it’s your boy Rick, back at it again. A while back, I decided to get into this whole rally racing thing. I mean, I’ve always been a bit of an adrenaline junkie, so why not, right? I’ve been hitting the dirt pretty hard on Gold Rush, but this rally racing is a whole different beast. Let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride, literally.

Rick Ness Rally Racing: How to watch it?

First off, I had to get my hands on a car. I did a lot of looking around, talking to people who know way more about this stuff than I do. Ended up getting a decent setup, nothing too fancy, but something I could learn with and not be too heartbroken if I banged it up. And trust me, there were plenty of close calls. It was kind of like starting over, you know? Like back in the early days of mining, I was learning everything from scratch. I got all geared up, made sure I had the right safety equipment, and all that jazz. Safety first, even when you’re trying to go fast.

Then came the actual driving. Oh boy, was that an experience. I started slow, getting a feel for the car, how it handles on different surfaces. I’m used to the rough terrain from mining, but this was different. This was about speed, precision, and not ending up in a ditch. I remember my first few practice runs; I was all over the place. Sliding around corners, kicking up dust, sometimes nearly losing control. But each time, I learned something new, pushed a little harder, got a little faster. And also, I have to deal with a lot of personal problems. Back in 2022, I took the time off for myself to deal with my mental issues. Then, I came back, which made me feel like I was reborn. It feels good.

  • First Practice: Totally messed up, but hey, I didn’t crash!
  • Second Practice: A bit smoother, started to get the hang of drifting.
  • Third Practice: Feeling more confident, pushing the car harder.

I started entering some local amateur races. Nothing big, just getting my feet wet. The competition was tough, there are some seriously talented drivers out there. I had a few good runs, a few not-so-good ones. But every race was a learning experience. I was picking up tips from other drivers, watching how they approached different sections of the track. It was like being back in school, but way more fun.

And let me tell you, the rush you get when you’re racing, it’s insane. Your heart’s pounding, adrenaline’s pumping, and you’re just focused on hitting those turns just right, pushing the car to its limit. I had some moments where I thought I was going to lose it, but somehow, I managed to keep it together. Those close calls, they really get your blood going. I remember one race, I was neck and neck with another driver, we were going flat out, and I managed to pull ahead in the last corner. Winning that race was one of the best feelings ever. It made all the hard work, all the practice, all the close calls, totally worth it.

Keep Moving Forward

So yeah, that’s my rally racing adventure so far. It’s been a blast, a real challenge, but I’m loving every minute of it. I’m still learning, still improving, and I’m excited to see where this road takes me. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll even go pro. But for now, I’m just enjoying the ride, one race at a time. Keep pushing forward and chasing the dream. Never give up!
