Okay, so I’ve been trying to figure out what time the Rams are playing the Lions today, but I’m in Arizona, and it’s a bit of a mess.

First, I started looking up “Rams vs. Lions game time” online. A bunch of stuff popped up, but it was all over the place. Some websites were talking about Eastern Time, others Pacific, and I just wanted to know when it started for me in Arizona.
Then I found a couple of sources saying the game’s on Sunday. That much I knew! One even mentioned it’s at Ford Field in Detroit. Okay, so not here. I kept digging.
- I saw it’s going to be on NBC and Peacock. Great, I can watch it!
- Then it hit me: Arizona doesn’t do Daylight Saving Time. So, what does that mean for game time?
Another website said something about 5:20 p.m. PDT. But is that my time? I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure Arizona is on Mountain Standard Time year-round, which is the same as Pacific Daylight Time during this part of the year. More confusion, haha!
Finally, I figured it out!
I think I’ve got it now. The game starts at 8:20 p.m. Eastern Time, and since Arizona is on the same time as PDT right now, that means the game starts at 5:20 p.m. here, too. And one website mentioned that the pre-game coverage starts at 7:30 p.m. ET, so that would be 4:30 p.m. for me. Whew! It took some work, but I think I’ve finally cracked the code. Now I can plan my day around the game. Go Rams!
