Okay, so I decided to finally 100% “South Park: The Stick of Truth.” I’d played through it before, but I always missed a few things. This time, I was determined to get every single trophy. I grabbed a guide online, just to make sure I didn’t miss anything missable, you know?

First thing I did was start a new game. Duh. I picked the Jew class, because, well, it’s hilarious. And powerful. I made sure to follow the guide’s advice about missable stuff right from the start. Things like collecting certain Chinpokomon or making sure to friend certain characters before they disappear from the game.
Day 1: Getting Started
- New Kid On The Block: Easy peasy, joined the KKK.
- First Day in South Park: Explored everywhere, talked to everyone. Made sure I get the missable friends like Clyde.
- Gingers: Man, those ginger kids are annoying. But I beat them all and got the trophy.
I spent a lot of time just running around, looting everything. Seriously, everything. I didn’t want to miss any of the costumes or weapons, because some of those are tied to trophies too. I also made sure to use certain abilities in combat a bunch of times, like making enemies grossed out. There’s a trophy for that, of course.
Day 2: Digging Deeper
The second day was all about progressing the main story, but also keeping a super close eye on side quests. Some of them are easy to miss, and if you miss them, you’re screwed out of a trophy. I remember spending ages trying to find all of Mr. Hankey’s kids. Seriously, who puts collectibles in the sewer?
- Stick of Truth Acquired: Followed the main quest, made sure to grab all the loot along the way.
- Heisenberg: Dressed up as Cartman, and get the trophy.
- Collecting Friends: Went back to every area, talked to everyone again, just in case.
Day 3: The Final Push
By the third day, I was in the home stretch. I focused on the remaining story missions, making sure to choose the right dialogue options for certain trophies. I also went back and cleaned up any remaining side quests, like finding all the Chinpokomon (again, some are super missable!). The final battles were a bit challenging, but I had stocked up on potions and revives, so I was good.
- Truth to Power: Beat the final boss!
- Chinpokolypse: Went back with my guide and found the LAST. DAMN. CHINPOKOMON.
- Mastery: Made sure I’d used every ability, farted on everyone, and so.
Finally, after all that, the platinum trophy popped! It felt good, man. It wasn’t the hardest platinum I’ve ever gotten, but it was definitely satisfying. The key is really just to pay attention to the missable stuff. If you do that, you’re golden. Now, if you will excuse me, i’m going to sleep for about 2 days.
