PPR Flex Rankings 2024 Guide: Who Should You Draft in Fantasy Football to Win Big This Season

Okay, so I’ve been messing around with fantasy football for a while now, and this year I really wanted to nail down my flex rankings, especially for PPR leagues. You know, get that edge. So, I started digging into the 2024 season.

First thing I did was, I started gathering a bunch of data. I mean, a ton of it. I scoured all the usual spots for player stats, projections, you name it. I put together this massive spreadsheet, it was kind of a beast, to be honest. Then, I started comparing all these different sources, trying to figure out who the real sleepers were and who was probably going to be overhyped.

Diving into the Positions

I broke things down by position first – quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, tight ends. I looked at past performance, sure, but also tried to factor in things like changes in coaching, offensive schemes, and potential breakout players. It was a lot of “what ifs” and educated guesses, but hey, that’s half the fun, right?

  • For running backs, I was really trying to figure out who was going to get the bulk of the carries, especially in PPR where receptions are gold.
  • With wide receivers, I focused on guys who were likely to see a lot of targets, even if they weren’t the flashiest names.
  • Tight ends, man, that’s always a tough one. I tried to find those guys who might be sneaky good in the red zone.

The Flex Puzzle

Then came the real challenge – figuring out the flex rankings. Since you can slot in RBs, WRs, or TEs, it gets tricky. I started by creating tiers within each position, then compared those tiers across positions. I wanted to see, for example, if a WR2 in my rankings was a better flex option than an RB3. It was a constant back and forth, tweaking and adjusting.

And of course, I had to think about Superflex leagues too. You know, where you can start another QB in your flex. That really shakes things up! It meant re-evaluating the QBs’ value compared to the other positions, which was another headache, but a fun one.

After all that, I finally came up with a set of flex rankings I felt pretty good about. They’re not perfect, no rankings are, but it’s a solid starting point. I shared them with my league mates, and we’ve been having some good debates. It’s all part of the process, right?

Now, I’ll keep updating these rankings as we get closer to the season, taking into account injuries, training camp buzz, and all that good stuff. It’s a never-ending grind, but I’m all in. This is my year, I can feel it!
