Okay, so I wanted to keep better track of the Phillies vs. Brewers games. I’m a huge Phillies fan, and sometimes I just lose track of how the season series is going. So, I decided to create a simple record of their matches.

First, I grabbed a piece of paper and a pen. Old school, I know, but it works for me. I divided the paper into columns: Date, Winner, Score, and any notes like if it was a home game or an away game.
Next, I went to check online to look up Phillies and Brewers, I needed their schedules, past games, scores. You know, the whole nine yards.
Once I got all the game info, I started filling in my little chart. I wrote down the date of each game, then filled in which team won, and the final score.
My Simple Tracking System
- Date: Pretty self-explanatory, just the day the game was played.
- Winner: Phillies or Brewers, obviously.
- Score: Final score of the game.
- Notes: Like I said, home or away, maybe if a particular player had a great game, or if it went into extra innings. Anything that stood out.
I kept updating this throughout the season. Every time the Phillies and Brewers played, I added a new row to my chart.

It’s nothing fancy, but it really helped me keep track of how the Phillies were doing against the Brewers. No more forgetting if we won the last game or wondering about the overall record.
It is a very simple way, I will keep doing it.
