Alright, guys, so I’ve been messing around with this “Overkill” thing in Modern Warfare 3, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I wanted to share my experience, from figuring it out to actually getting it to work.

Getting Started
First off, I had no clue what Overkill even was. I mean, I’d heard the term, but I wasn’t sure how it applied to MW3. So, I did what anyone would do – I started Googling. I spent a good chunk of time just reading forums and watching videos. Lots of people talking, but not a lot of clear “do this, then do that” kind of stuff.
The Experimentation Phase
Then came the fun part – trying it out myself. I jumped into the game, created a custom class, and started messing with the perks. My early attempts were, well, let’s just say they weren’t pretty. I died. A lot.
- Attempt 1: I think I misunderstood the whole concept. I slapped on two primary weapons, but I didn’t really get how to use them effectively. I was basically running around like a chicken with its head cut off.
- Attempt 2: Okay, slightly better. I started to realize that it’s not just about having two big guns, it’s about when to use them. Still died a bunch, though.
- Attempt 3: I started to think about weapon combinations. Like, maybe a shotgun for close-quarters and an assault rifle for longer range? It was starting to click, but my loadout was still a mess.
Finding My Groove (and Dying Less)
After a bunch more trial and error, I finally started to figure out a few things that worked for me. It’s probably different for everyone, but here’s what I landed on:
- Used the Overkill.
- Selected two of my most comfortable weapons.
- Changed weapons according to the map situation.
The Sweet, Sweet Taste of Victory
And then, it happened. I had a match where everything just worked. I was switching weapons seamlessly, taking down enemies left and right, and actually contributing to my team. It felt GOOD.
It still need to check that i can play smooth, and change loadout according to the map and game mode.

So, that’s my Overkill journey. It took some time, some frustration, and a whole lot of deaths, but I finally got there. If you’re struggling with it, don’t give up! Just keep experimenting and find what works for you. It’s worth it, trust me.
