So, I’ve been digging around for info on the next-gen Yonex EZONE, and man, it’s been a bit of a journey! I started out just casually browsing, you know, the usual forums and tennis sites. I kept seeing these whispers about a new EZONE coming out, but nothing concrete. Lots of speculation, you know how it is.

Then I started digging a little deeper. Looked through some Japanese sites, tried to piece together what I could. Turns out, it’s going to be the eighth generation of the EZONE. Who knew? I even found a few blurry photos of what might be the new design.
The more I searched, the more tidbits I uncovered. Apparently, they’re staggering the release, which is kind of annoying, right? Like, I just want to get my hands on it already! But from what I gathered, the main models are hitting the shelves on January 10, 2025. Mark your calendars, folks! Some of the other models, like the lighter ones and the 98 Pro, they’re going to drop later, like February 28, 2025. Kind of a bummer, but hey, at least we have a date, right?
Then there’s this new “Aqua Night Black” design. I saw some pictures, and it looks pretty slick. I read that they’re using this design on the EZONE 98, 100, and 100L, but these will be available in January 2024. Looks like they’re keeping the same specs as the 2022 versions, just a fresh coat of paint, but still, it’s something to look forward to.
I also stumbled upon some chat about pros using it. I noticed that Ben Shelton uses the EZONE 98 Aqua Black, and Belinda Bencic uses the EZONE 100. I guess they like the balance of power and control. I’ve always been more of a power player myself, but maybe I should give this control thing a try.
- The first thing I did was browse some tennis forums.
- Then I dug deeper and found out it’s the eighth generation.
- I learned the release is staggered, with the main models out on January 10, 2025.
- I discovered the “Aqua Night Black” design, which looks pretty cool.
- Finally, I figured out some pros are already using them.
Anyway, that’s all I’ve managed to piece together so far. It’s been a fun little treasure hunt, to be honest. I’m definitely hyped for this new EZONE. I think it’s going to be a game-changer. I’ll keep you guys updated if I find out anything more!
