So, today I wanted to check out how the Guardians did against the Astros. I’m a huge baseball fan, and these two teams always put on a good show. I grabbed my phone and started digging.

First, I checked the recent scores. Turns out, they had a game on September 27th. I found a box score for that one. Looks like it was a pretty intense match! Then I saw something about a game on September 28th, 2024 – but it felt like it’s in the future. Maybe I saw a schedule?
I also found some info about a game that got canceled. It was supposed to be the season finale between the Guardians and Astros, but it got called off after a long delay. Bummer for the fans who were looking forward to that one.
I dug a little deeper and saw that the Astros, along with the Orioles and Braves, got swept by their wild-card opponents. That must have been rough! It sent the Tigers, Royals, and Padres on to the division series.
While I was at it, I stumbled upon some fun facts about the Astros. Did you know that Joe Niekro had the most wins in their franchise history, with 144 wins? And Roy Oswalt was right behind him with 143. Pretty cool!
Oh, and here’s a wild one: I saw something about Caratini hitting a 2-run homer in the 10th inning, and Hader pitching for 2 innings to lift the Astros over the Guardians 10-9. That sounds like a nail-biter! I wish I had caught that game. Looks like Cavan Biggio used to play for them but hasn’t been very good recently.

I was mainly interested in the final scores and some highlights. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find the exact score I was looking for right away, but I got a good sense of how the teams have been doing. I did notice some random stuff about clothing and “Tiny Turnip” and “G-III 4Her” but, honestly, who cares?

What I managed to find out:
Anyway, that’s all I found for now. I’ll keep an eye out for more updates on these teams. Baseball season is always full of surprises!
