Okay, so I’ve been watching a lot of basketball lately, both NBA and WNBA. And something kept bugging me: Do they play on the same size court? It honestly looked like it, but I wasn’t 100% sure, so I decided to do some digging.

NBA and WNBA Court Dimensions: Same Size or Different?

My Investigation Begins

First, I just started by watching games closely. I was trying to see if I could spot any differences in spacing, how quickly players got up and down the court, that sort of thing. But honestly, my eyes aren’t that good. It all looked pretty much the same.

Hitting the Internet

Next, I figured it was time to hit up the internet. I just did a simple search for “NBA court size” and “WNBA court size”. The results, were pretty clear cut.

  • The search show that The Professional NBA and (WNBA) Court is 94 feet long and 50 feet wide
  • Another result say : WNBA Basketball Court Dimensions are the same in every respect as the NBA

Putting it All Together

I found some official-looking websites, and they all said the same thing: 94 feet long, 50 feet wide. And that was for BOTH the NBA and the * it’s clear that the basic court dimensions are absolutely identical.

Final Verdict

So, there you have it. Mystery solved! Turns out, I did all that searching to discover what I thought was the actual answer.
