Okay, so, tonight I decided to check out “Monday Night Football.” I’ve heard a lot about it, and it felt like the right time to see what the fuss was all about.

First off, I had to figure out when it actually starts. After a bit of searching, I found that the kickoff is at 8:15 p.m. ET.
Then, I learned there are actually two “MNF” games. It’s because of some deal the NFL made back in 2021, giving ESPN and ABC more games to broadcast. I did some digging, and it turns out these broadcast rights cost a fortune, like millions per night. Seems a bit wild, but hey, it’s big business, right?
To watch the game, I found out it was going to be on both ABC and ESPN. I started flipping between channels to see what the pre-game coverage was like. There were these two guys, Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, who seemed to be the main commentators. They were breaking down the teams and what to expect.
I didn’t have cable, so I was trying to find some streaming options. I checked my phone and saw an ad about a streaming service called Fubo. It looked like they were having a discount for the first month, like $30 off.
Tonight’s game was the Eagles versus the Falcons. I was looking forward to a good match. I settled in, got some snacks, and got ready for some football action.

- Find the time: 8:15 PM ET

- Enjoy the game: Eagles vs. Falcons, let’s go!
My To-Do Checklist to Watch the Game
It was a pretty smooth process, getting everything ready to watch the game. It was fun to feel like I was part of this big Monday night tradition, even though I’m not a die-hard football fan. It is always cool to try new things and share my experiences. I’ll definitely be tuning in again. Maybe I’ll even start to understand all the rules and stuff, who knows!
