So I was thinking about my time in the NBA the other day, specifically about my time with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Man, those were some times. Let me tell you about it.

I started playing basketball when I was a kid, growing up in Brooklyn. Went to Abraham Lincoln High School, you know? I always knew I wanted to go pro. And I did.
I played for 13 seasons in the NBA, for 5 different teams. Timberwolves, and the Knicks, yeah, those were two of them. I averaged 19.3 points a game, not too bad, right? I also got about 3 rebounds and 7.6 assists per game.

In my first season in the league, I really tried to prove myself. From 1998 to 2005, that was a pretty good stretch for me. I averaged around 21.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 8.3 assists, and some steals and blocks, too. Shooting wasn’t too shabby either, around 53% true shooting. I even made it to the All-Star game twice during those years.
I even recorded a career-high 53 efficiency rating in 2012! It was January 18, 2012.
But you know, it’s not all about the stats. It’s about the experiences, the people you meet, the cities you play in. I’ve learned a lot over the years, both on and off the court.

Some Highlights
- Two All-Star appearances
- Career-high 53 efficiency rating
- Played for the Timberwolves and the Knicks
I’ve seen it all, done it all. But one thing’s for sure, I loved playing basketball. And those years with the Timberwolves? They were definitely a big part of it.
Anyway, that’s just a little bit about my time with the Timberwolves. Maybe I’ll share more stories later. We’ll see.
