Okay, so, today I tried out something called “mallick quraan”. It’s about learning the Quran, you know? I started off pretty clueless, but I’ve always wanted to understand it better. I found this thing that said it could teach you 7 Surahs and a bunch of Quranic words in just 12 hours of video lectures. Sounded ambitious, but hey, why not?

I dove into the lessons. The first thing they did was explain who “Al-Malik” is. Apparently, it means “The King” in the Quran, and it’s mentioned five times. This Al-Malik guy is the ruler of everything, gives authority to whoever He wants. That was a pretty cool start. Made me feel like I was unlocking some ancient secret or something.
Then, the videos got into the nitty-gritty. They used all these creative teaching methods, like visuals and stuff, to make it stick. They said it helps you “grasp concepts and retain knowledge.” And you know what? It actually worked! I started picking up words and phrases way faster than I thought I would.
- First, they introduced some basic grammar. Nothing too crazy, just enough to get the ball rolling.
- Next, I learned some common Quranic words. It was like, “Oh, so THAT’S what that means!”
- Then, they combined the grammar and words to form simple sentences. It felt like putting together puzzle pieces.
I spent the whole day immersed in these lessons. By the evening, I was actually understanding bits and pieces of the Quran! They weren’t kidding when they said they’d teach 50% of the Quranic words. I mean, it’s not like I can read the whole thing now, but I can definitely recognize more than I could this morning.
I also read somewhere that understanding the Quran depends on things like your language skills and background. I guess that makes sense. But these lessons made it feel really accessible, even for a beginner like me.
The whole experience was pretty eye-opening. I used to think the Quran was way too complicated to understand. But after today, I feel like I’ve made some real progress. It’s like I’ve finally started to “deepen my connection” with it, just like that Dr. Sohaib Saeed quote said. I’m definitely going to keep at it. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll be able to read it without needing a translation!

So yeah, that was my day with “mallick quraan.” It’s been a good one. I’m tired, but it’s a good kind of tired. Like I’ve actually accomplished something meaningful.
