I decided to go with the freecodecamp thing. I mean, free is always good, right? And 37 hours? That’s like a whole work week! But hey, I was committed. So, I started going through the course, and it was a mix of theory and actual coding, which I liked. The instructor was pretty decent, explaining things in a way that even I could understand.
My main goal was to see if I could somehow use Dart and Flutter for this Netflix-related project. I’m not going to lie, it was a bit of a struggle. Building apps is way different from just writing simple scripts. There’s a lot more to it, like managing the UI, handling user input, and all that stuff. I spent hours, days even, just trying to get a simple interface working. But this is what I did step by step:
