Okay, here’s my blog post about figuring out Kit Young’s height:
So, I was watching “Shadow and Bone” the other day, really getting into it, you know? And I noticed Kit Young, the guy who plays Jesper. I was like, “Hmm, I wonder how tall that dude is?”
I started digging around. First, I checked out some fan forums. People were throwing around all sorts of numbers, but nothing concrete. It was all just guessing, really.
My Research
Then, I moved on to those celebrity websites. You know the ones, they have all the stats on actors and stuff. But even there, it was a bit of a mixed bag. Some said one thing, others said another. I thought to myself,”Is there some big secret with Kit’s height?”
Next, I tried to find some interviews where he might have mentioned his height. I watched a bunch of them. He talks about his acting, his roles, and all that jazz but not a word about how tall he is. Seriously, not even a peep about his height!
I even went down the rabbit hole of comparing him to other actors in the show. In the show “Shadow and Bone”, there’s this guy Freddy Carter. They stand next to each other quite a bit. So I started comparing their heights, thinking maybe I could get an estimate that way. And guess what? They look like they’re pretty much the same height, give or take an inch maybe.

- Searching for any official statements about his height.
I figured if Freddy’s height is listed somewhere, that might give me a clue. I managed to find out that Freddy’s around 6 feet. I was like, “That is a real clue!”
So, putting it all together, I’m pretty sure Kit Young is around 6 feet tall. I mean, he’s not towering over anyone, but he’s definitely not short. It’s all just a bit of detective work, really. No official word from the man himself, but from what I’ve gathered, 6 feet seems about right. I concluded that he is probably the same height as Freddy. Mystery solved, I guess! At least I can sleep now!
