Okay, so, I’ve been trying to figure out how to listen to the KC Royals games online, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey.

First off, I started by looking into apps. I found that the Audacy app is a good one. You can download it to your phone and listen to the games there. Pretty straightforward, right? I downloaded the app, made an account – the whole nine yards.
Then, I stumbled upon 610 Sports’ website. Turns out, they also stream the games live. So, if you’re on your computer, that’s another option. I tested it out, and it works pretty well. It was easy to find on their homepage.
Other Ways
- There’s also something called the KC Chiefs Mobile App. I guess it streams all the games, but there might be some restrictions. I haven’t dug too deep into that one yet, but it’s on my list.
- Tico Sports website is another one. It seems like you can listen to the games on your PC or laptop through their site.
- NFL Game Pass. Now, this one requires a membership, so it’s not free. But if you’re a die-hard fan and want all the bells and whistles, this could be worth looking into.
I also heard about some agreement with Diamond Sports Group, which apparently owns FanDuel Sports Network. Supposedly, for the upcoming 2025 season, Royals games will continue to be produced and distributed by FanDuel. They recently rebranded from Bally Sports, so that was a bit confusing at first. I haven’t checked this one out yet, but it sounds like it’ll be another option soon.
There are some other play-by-play channels, too. Like, 858 for Yankees and 851 for Royals. I haven’t tried these yet, but they’re worth noting. Oh, and 96.5 The Fan is another one, but it seems like it also may have restrictions.
Lastly, I came across TuneIn. It’s like a hub for sports radio, and they cover the KC Royals. I haven’t used it personally, but it sounds promising. I will check this one next time.

So yeah, that’s where I’m at with this whole listening to the Royals games online thing. It’s not as simple as I initially thought, but there are definitely a bunch of options out there. I’ll keep exploring and see which one works best for me. It has been pretty interesting so far!
