Alright, so I stumbled upon this thing called the “Marvelous Minds Collection Challenge” in Pokemon GO, and let me tell you, it was quite the ride. I decided to dive headfirst into it because, well, why not? Gotta catch ’em all, right?

So, first things first, I started by firing up the app and checking out what this challenge was all about. It turns out, there were two parts to it – one focused on catching Pokemon and the other on evolving them. I’m not one to back down from a challenge, so I went straight to work.

I began with the catching part. Now, the challenge listed a bunch of Psychic-type Pokemon I needed to snag. Some were easy to find, like Abra and Ralts, just wandering around in the wild. Others, not so much. I spent a good chunk of time walking around my neighborhood, phone in hand, scanning for any sign of these elusive critters.

Let me tell you, the hunt for Solosis was a real pain. I swear, that little guy was playing hard to get. But after what felt like hours, I finally managed to catch one. The feeling of finally ticking off a Pokemon from the list was so satisfying. I kept at it, catching Drowzees, Exeggcutes, and even a sneaky Hattrem. It was a grind, but hey, that’s part of the fun, right?

  • Hunting down Solosis
  • Snagging Drowzee
  • Tracking Exeggcute
  • Finally getting Hattrem

Once I had all the Pokemon for the catching challenge, it was time to move on to the evolving part. This one was a bit more straightforward, but it still required some effort. I had to evolve a bunch of Pokemon into their next forms. For example, I evolved my Abra into Kadabra, and then eventually into Alakazam. I did the same with Ralts, evolving it into Kirlia and then Gardevoir. The toughest one was probably evolving Solosis all the way to Reuniclus. That took a lot of candy and stardust, but I managed to pull it off.

Here’s a quick rundown of the evolutions I did:

  • Abra evolved into Kadabra, then into Alakazam
  • Ralts evolved into Kirlia, then into Gardevoir
  • Solosis evolved into Duosion, then into Reuniclus

Honestly, going through all these evolutions felt like a real accomplishment. Each step took time and resources, but seeing those Pokemon transform was pretty cool. Plus, the rewards for completing each part of the challenge were totally worth it. I got a bunch of Stardust, some XP, and even an encounter with a special Cottonee wearing a flower crown. How cute is that?

The Rewards

Now, let’s talk about the goodies. For finishing the catching challenge, I got a nice chunk of Stardust, which is always useful for powering up my Pokemon. The XP was a nice bonus too, helping me level up. And the special Cottonee encounter? That was just the cherry on top.

For the evolving challenge, the rewards were similar, but I also got some extra Candy, which came in handy for future evolutions. Plus, players at level 31 or more could get Candy XL, which is super rare and useful for powering up Pokemon to their max potential.

All in all, this Marvelous Minds Collection Challenge was a blast. It had its tough moments, especially with tracking down some of those rare Pokemon, but the sense of achievement and the rewards made it all worthwhile. If you’re a Pokemon GO player and haven’t tried this challenge yet, I highly recommend giving it a shot. Just be prepared to put in some work, and you’ll have a great time!
