Okay, so today I decided to mess around with “jjk takaba”. Honestly, I’d seen some stuff about it online and thought, “Why not?” So, I started by looking it up, trying to get a handle on what it even was. Turns out, it’s something related to, uh, some character from Jujutsu Kaisen. Cool, I like the show, not super into it, but anyway…

First thing I did was try to find some good reference images. I just went to a general image search and typed in “jjk takaba”. Lots of stuff popped up, mostly fan art, some screenshots, you know, the usual.
Then, I opened up my usual drawing app – nothing fancy, just something I’m comfortable with. I started sketching, just trying to get the basic shapes down. I’m not great at drawing, so it was a lot of erasing and redoing lines. Seriously, my hand was cramping after a while.
- Rough sketch: Just getting the general pose and proportions.
- Refining: Cleaning up the lines, adding some details.
- Giving up on the hands: Seriously, hands are hard.
It began to take shape at this time, but it was still far from my satisfactory work.
Trying Something New
After that, I thought about coloring it, but honestly, I wasn’t feeling it. I’m more of a black-and-white kind of person. So, I started playing around with shading, trying to make it look a little more dynamic. I added some cross-hatching, some darker areas, just trying to give it some depth.

It took a few hours, and it’s definitely not perfect, but hey, I did something! It was a fun little experiment, and I learned a bit more about the character and practiced my drawing skills (even if my hands still look like weird claws).
So yeah, that’s my “jjk takaba” experience. Not exactly a masterpiece, but it was a good way to spend an afternoon. I got to try something new, be a little creative, and that’s always a win in my book.
