Okay, so, I’ve been following the NBA quite closely recently, and Jayson Tatum’s performance has really caught my eye. Today, I decided to focus specifically on his first-quarter points.
First, I grabbed my notebook and opened up a live stream of the Celtics game. I made sure to have a pen ready to jot down every point Tatum scored in the first quarter. It was a bit of a nail-biter because you never know how many points a player will get in any given quarter, right?
As the game started, Tatum was on fire! He drove to the basket, hit some smooth jumpers, and even sank a few three-pointers. Each time he scored, I marked it down. I have to say, watching him play is something else. He’s just so skilled.
The Action
- Tatum scored his first two points with a layup.
- Then, he nailed a three-pointer!
- A couple of minutes later, he got fouled and made both free throws.
- He followed that up with another jumper.
- And, he finished the quarter with two more three pointers.
By the end of the first quarter, I counted 17 points for Tatum. Pretty impressive, huh? I was so hyped! It’s amazing to see such a strong start from him. I mean, the guy’s been consistently scoring in double digits in the first quarter this season, which is just wild. Also I heard that Porzingis got 11 points in the first quarter. The Celtics really dominated the first quarter.
I closed my notebook, feeling pretty good about my little tracking project. It’s fun to dive deep into a player’s performance like this. It makes watching the game even more exciting. I can’t wait to see what Tatum does in the next game! Maybe I’ll track his rebounds next time.
