Okay, so today was International Female Ride Day, and I was so ready to get out there and ride. I’ve been looking forward to this for weeks!
Prepping the Bike
First things first, I checked my bike. You know, the usual – made sure the tires were pumped up, the chain was lubed, and everything was running smoothly. Nothing worse than getting halfway through a ride and having something break down.
- Tire pressure: Check!
- Chain: Lubed and ready!
- Brakes: Working perfectly!
Gearing Up
Next, I got all my gear on. My favorite helmet, my riding gloves, and my comfy (but protective) jacket. Gotta look good and stay safe, right? I also grabbed a small backpack with some water and a snack. Essential for a good ride.
The Ride Itself
I met up with a few of my friends who also ride. We decided to hit up this awesome route that goes through some scenic backroads. The weather was absolutely perfect – sunny, but not too hot, with a nice breeze. We took off, and it felt amazing to be out on the open road.
We cruised along, chatting and laughing, enjoying the scenery. We stopped a couple of times to take some pictures and just soak it all in. Seriously, the views were incredible. We even saw some deer off in the distance!
Wrapping Up
After a few hours of riding, we headed back. We were all a little tired, but in that good way, you know? The kind of tired you get after doing something you really enjoy. We grabbed some coffee. Chatting, riding, coffee. What more could a girl want?

Honestly, it was such a fantastic day. It’s so cool to be part of International Female Ride Day and celebrate with other women who love to ride. Can’t wait for next year!
