So, I decided to mess around with this “golf 57” thing I saw online. It sounded crazy, but I wanted to see if it was even possible.

Getting Started
First, I had to find a par 3 course. I mean, that’s the only place you even have a chance of getting a hole-in-one, right? A “golf 57” is another word of hole-in-one, So, I found a local one and grabbed my clubs.
The Experiment
My strategy, if you can even call it that, was simple: swing as hard as I possibly could and hope for the best. I teed up the ball, took a deep breath, and let it rip.
- Swing 1: The ball went straight… and way too far. Sailed right over the green.
- Swing 2: Tried to ease up a bit. Nope. Sliced it into the trees.
- Swing 3, 4, 5… : You get the picture. It was a disaster. Balls were flying everywhere except into the hole.
I’ll be honest, I started to feel pretty silly. People were probably watching me, this grown man flailing around on the tee box. But I’m stubborn, so I kept going. I used every single ball in my bag that i had brought.
Conclusion (or Lack Thereof)
Did I get a “golf 57”? Absolutely not. Not even close. I think the closest I got was landing a ball on the green, but it rolled about 20 feet past the hole.
So, my “golf 57” experiment was a total bust. Maybe it’s just a myth, or maybe you need to be some kind of golf god to pull it off. Either way, I’m going back to playing regular golf. It’s a lot less frustrating, i swear to god, i used all my balls!
