Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post, channeling that “seasoned blogger sharing practical experience” vibe, about “frank lickliter golf”, keeping all those rules in mind:

So, I decided to dive into this whole “Frank Lickliter golf” thing. I mean, I’d heard the name, seen it pop up here and there, but never really got it. Figured it was time to see what all the fuss was about.
First, I did what anyone does – I started Googling. Typed in “Frank Lickliter golf”, just to get a feel for things. I wanted to see videos, you know, the guy in action.
Then I wanted to try some swings myself. I wanted to know what the details were, the things other people said, so I went looking for them.
Digging a Little Deeper
After watching, I felt a bit more informed, a bit more… connected to the whole thing. I started thinking about how I could try to emulate some of that, you know, in my own pathetic attempts at golf.
My (Very Amateur) Attempt
I grabbed my clubs – nothing fancy, just the basic set I’ve had for years – and headed out to the local driving range. It was a weekday afternoon, thankfully not too crowded.

Now, I’m no pro, not even close. I’m mostly a “hit it and hope” kind of golfer. But I tried to remember, that smooth motion. I focused on keeping my head down.
Tried to keep my eye on the ball.
The Result?
- A lot of missed shots. Seriously, a lot.
- A few that went surprisingly straight (beginner’s luck, I’m sure).
- One that actually felt… good. Like, I could feel the difference.
- It does require a lot of practice, there are a lot of details, and it’s complicated.
It’s a long way to go, but, hey, it’s a start, right? And it definitely gave me a new appreciation for that. So I’ll keep at it. Maybe next time, I’ll even break 100… maybe.
