Alright, so today I decided to mess around with “dodo lol,” which, if you’re not in the loop, is basically combining DOTA 2 heroes with League of Legends items. Sounds crazy, right? It totally is, and that’s why I had to try it.
Getting Started
First, I fired up DOTA 2. Gotta have the base game, obviously. I usually play a support, I am not so good with hard-carry. My hand is a little bit shaky when I am playing carry.
The Experiment
I picked a random game. I chose to play with Pudge, my all-time favorite, and then it was time for the weird part – buying League of Legends items. Okay, so obviously you can’t actually buy League items in DOTA, so I had to use the cheat, haha!
Here is what I did step-by-step, because the orders really matters
- I type “-createhero item_name enemy” to give lol’s item to enemy.
- I picked up that item to my inventory.
- I enjoy destorying everything.
Did It Work?
Playing Pudge with such items felt soooooo good!
I felt like a god, because I become unkillable and deal tons of damage.

So, yeah, “dodo lol” is as ridiculous and fun as it sounds. If you’re looking for a way to spice up your DOTA 2 games and you’re not afraid of a little chaos, give it a shot. Just don’t do it in ranked, okay? Your teammates will thank you. Or maybe not, who knows, maybe you can one versus five.
